Temecula, CA) -- A Temecula man has been jailed on suspicion of animal cruelty after over 200 dead dogs and a few cats were found scattered around his property. Riverside County authorities say the discovery was made Friday at a home on Liefer Road where the back yard was filled with carcasses stuffed in plastic bags and stacked in piles. Officials also say just over 100 wild dogs found alive had to be euthanized due to their poor physical condition. Several puppies did survive and are expected to be adopted out. The 66-year-old homeowner is being held on five-thousand dollars bail.
